Warning!

Wikipedia lists a few dozen definitions for the word “Grid” and our take on it, with an additional d, embodies a few of them. It is about ordering information with a dash of flexibility while simultaneously providing with plenty of paths for it to be accessed.

That’s what we aim to achieve in theory. This statement of intent however only scratches the surface of what can be done and indeed what should be done.

The tasks that lay ahead of us are monumental and many, including some of the biggest and brightest minds have spent years trying to solve some of the issues we faced ourselves with little success and much frustration.

What motivates us to soldier on is the firm belief that information (and content) deserves better than just being shafted somewhere in a virtual silo.

Not clear enough, just well enough then. We’ll open our kimonos further over the next few weeks.
