Grids are beautiful. However, they are only made visible through use. Once visible, the impact of a grid's precision acts as proof of its design credibility and sophistication.

Contemporary grids are very exciting, their mathematical dexterity and flexibility differs from those of the past. The laws governing the past were rigid and limiting, the possiblities for the future are immense. Starting from the basline grid, technology has allowed for greater accuracy, and an intricate structure.

Moderns grids break down the page into exact components. When these components are intergrated in different ways, the cohesion in design is fasnating. This changes our understanding of 'the page' which in turn allows for a change in the way we understand and absorb information.
